question of the week: mother's day gifts
Consider this your friendly reminder that this Sunday is Mother's Day. Whether you have a mom, are a mom or know some mom-type people, it's time to get those cards in the mail or make some weekend plans.
There may be some of you... er, us... who haven't come up with the perfect gift yet. So all of you who've got it together, let us know what you like to give/get for Mother's Day. (And since my mom frequently reads this blog, I guess my secret's out. Sorry, Mom!)

My girls are 6 & 7, so anything they pick out or make for me is perfect. I give them $$ and then my mom takes them shopping and they can buy me whatever they want with their $10 each. (It's nice that my mom also throws in a gift, usually something she's heard me say I'd like or need - this year, I think it will be a new hand vac for the minivan.)
