My friends were super generous and brought delicious food to help with the feast! I've been eating leftovers nonstop (even though I sent everyone home with some) though so maybe next year I'll trim the meal down a bit. Or is that ruining the spirit of Thanksgiving by not having a lot of food?

Well I recently became engaged, so when we arrived after going to my fiance's family's house first, my entire family (plus some) of 30 were lined up on the porch with their heads linked overhead to create an arch for us to walk through and they were humming the Wedding March! My fiance' and I were moved to tears. It continued throughout the day with toasts after dinner, board games into the night. We ended up making it a Thanksgiving slumber party! Woke up the next morning and had turkey and cranberry sandwiches with our muffins and coffee! A Thanksgiving I will never forget!
