The blog looks great!

I was logging on to my account to update an event I threw last Sunday (a special networking brunch) and I found the blog! And the new site! Wow! Very nice!

I am glad you're addressing some bugs in the system. And I love the party tips. I'll be addressing evite in my blog soon-- I think it's an incredible way to organize a party.

Cool, a new blog! I'll be checking in often - I'm already hooked on the idea of brewing my own beer.

Any tips on how to float one drink on top of another without mixing it would be helpful (like a black and tan, or a white russian).

They say you can do it on the back of a spoon, but I have never been that successful at it.

Anyway, as a blogger, and as an evite user, I love this. It's the best of both worlds! :)

Hi James,Thanks for checking out the blog! Floating drinks is tricky, but the key for me has been going very sloooooowly.
I just ordered a black and tan at a restaurant the other week, and the "beer sommelier" (seriously, he was awesome) used the spoon technique you mentioned, to great success. I tried to re-create it on my, ahem, second glass, and it worked just fine -- but again, I went superslowly. I've had some success just tipping the glass and slowly pouring against the rim too, but the spoon trick worked better for me.

Any other bartenders out there who have a different technique?
