The new fall season is upon us. I polled my coworkers, and this is what we want to do at our premiere parties:

Heroes (premieres 9/24)
eat: hero sandwiches washed down by Mohinder mojitos
bet on it: Will Peter's perfectly swoopy hair be damaged by his nearly exploding and shooting off into space?
drink when: Mohinder says “my father’s research” or Claire rocks her cheerleading outfit.

The Office (premieres 9/27)
eat: vending machine snacks and take-out from Chili’s
bet on it: Will Jim and Pam actually go on that date?
drink when: Someone looks directly into the camera. (Designated driver mandatory.)

Ugly Betty (premieres 9/27)
eat: Mexican food and brownies a la Mode
bet on it: Guess which complication will get in Betty and Henry’s way this time.
drink when: Somebody says something snarky to Betty.

Love these ideas! Just think of what you could do for a night of Top Chef - I wonder if anyone ever actually tries to make the contestant recipes posted on Bravo's site.

Anyone have any suggestions for the season premiere of Project Runway 4?

I was thinking the Cuban classic, ropa vieja (would have been great for that season opener where they had to craft a new outfit from the clothes they were wearing).

How about for Desperate Housewives Premiere? Need ideas!

Ropa vieja sounds perfect for Project Runway -- so clever! To keep with the Cuban theme, I'd serve moros y cristianos (Cuban-style black beans and rice) alongside. Black & white is always in fashion.

I'm also in love with these cookie cutters from Williams-Sonoma in the shape of a dress, shoe, purse and tiara. So cute!

Any ideas for Grey's Anatomy?
We meet everything Thursday, this season it's at my house. I want to make it fun!

I LIVE for "Jack Bauer" & "24". Would LOVE to have a "24 PARTY".

Was thinking you could:
"eat" - ??? (It's set in L.A. so anything could work, but the decor around the food could be CTU/Anti-terror stuff). Any ideas?

"bet" on # of phone rings at CTU (distinctive 3-ring tone)

"drink" everytime you hear Jack say "dammit" and "NOW!"
