taking a stand

Stop drooling (or cringing) over the oysters and check out this bowl. The oversized recycled glass bowl and pedestal from Viva Terra is both eco-conscious and party-awesome. Fill it with with ice to to chill foods or bottled drinks, or showcase a killer salad or pasta. I'm breaking mine in as a punch bowl.

The metal pedastal not only gives the bowl a dramatic look and a stable base, it adds height and dimension to a buffet table and makes a knockout centerpiece.

Might be a little shallow for a punch bowl, but then again you can always have a pitcher handy to refill it when needed
